Then again, maybe a cozy room, a shower, and a kitchen are all that's necessary to enjoy a beach vacation. The standard rental period for vacation rental houses is one week, either from Saturday to Saturday, or Sunday to Sunday. Most of the Outer Banks vacation rental houses are privately owned, providing a huge variety of décor, styles, location, prices, and amenities. For rentals during high season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), vacationers should reserve early, as the condos book up quickly. A deposit is usually required (the norm is 50%), with the balance to be paid prior to arrival.
